Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”         MATTHEW 28:18-20   (NIV)

JESUS CHRIST UNIVERSAL MISSION
Statement of Faith
We believe that...
The whole Bible, the Old and the New Testaments is the infaillible and authoritative Word of God and all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work, 2 Timothy 3:16.

God is the Creator, the Eternal Father. He is Love, Eternal, Faithful, Righteous, Merciful, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Holy,
Genesis 21:33, James 2:24

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Emmanuel, the Lord and Savior. Through Him God is revealed. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, His miraculous and sacrificial death, His resurrection, His glorious ascending and His return,
Matthew 1:23,28:6, Hebrew 7:26, 2Corinthians 5:21,15:4, Philippians 2:9-11.

The Holy spirit is God. He is the consolatory, sent by the Father and the Son to lead and advise children of God. He leads the heirs of God in truth, Luke 1:35,4:18,1, Ephesians 4:11-12, Corinthians 1:1.

The Lord's Supper or Holy Communion is the symbol of our union with Christ and the partaking of His divine nature, a memorial of His suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming, 1 Corinthians 11:26, 2 peter 1:4.

Healing was provided in atonement of Jesus Christ and that divine healing is available through spiritual gifts and the prayer of faith, Mark 16:18, James 5:14-15.

The church is the body of Christ and Jesus is the Head. We believe that the church is to be sanctified for the glory of God. We believe in the five-fold ministry of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher available for the perfecting of saints for the work and the edification of the body of Christ, Romans 6:1-11, Ephesians 1:22, 4:11-13, Hebrews 12:14,23.

Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, received through the repentance of sins and in submission to Jesus as Lord and Savior, Romans 10:8-11, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7.

The baptism by immersion as the believer's declaration of his death and resurrection with Christ, Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38,
Romans 6:4.

The Holy Spirit baptism as a sign of new birth, Acts 1:4-8, 8:12-17

The spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit for the benefit of the church, Romans 12:4-8, Corinthians 2:9-28. We also acknowledge gifts such as faith, healing, miracles, tongues, interpretation of tongues, discernment of spirits, word of knowledge, and word of wisdom,
1 Corinthians 12:7-12. In addition, talents and qualifications including the gift of mercy, hospitality, management, diaconate and eldership are available to the body of Christ, Exodus 35:30-35, 36:1-2, Romans 12:4-8

The second coming of Christ and the bodily resurrection of believers as the blessed hope of the church, in the millennial reign of Christ, in the judgment, and in the new heaven and new earth, 1 Thessalonicians 4:16-17, 5:1-6, Revelation 1:8, 19:11-14,21:22
